Network Infrastructure & Security Engineering
Design, modernize, migrate, secure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure for reliable operations and stronger security.
Most firms make you choose
A network engineer who builds fast but leaves you to worry about compliance later. Or a security consultant who audits the network but can't touch the hardware. VALO does both in one engagement — we design, migrate, and troubleshoot the infrastructure your day runs on, and we build it so uptime, security, and compliance requirements are handled together, not bolted on after.
That combination is the point. A pure network engineer can't tell you whether your segmentation will stand up to an audit. A pure compliance consultant can't reconfigure the switch. We do.
What we do
Network architecture, design and implementation; LAN/WAN modernization; core, distribution and access-layer upgrades; equipment refreshes; data center network infrastructure; and Cisco ACI architecture and implementation.
Switch and router migrations, firewall and network migration support, equipment replacement, pre-migration testing and change planning, controlled cutovers, and post-migration validation and operational support.
Cisco switching and routing, switch and router configuration and deployment, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP, SD-WAN design and implementation, plus network high availability and redundancy.
Network segmentation and micro-segmentation, VLAN design and segmentation, Access Control List (ACL) design, implementation and optimization, and least-privilege network access controls.
DNS, DHCP and IPAM solutions; ISP, carrier, fiber and circuit coordination; network configuration audits and standardization; and secure connectivity support across enterprise infrastructure.
Network performance optimization, advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, network assessments, remediation planning, firewall and ACL posture reviews, remote-access controls, and security logging.
A hands-on assessment for qualifying single-site small businesses and clinics. The review focuses on reliability, security architecture, segmentation, firewall and access controls, switching/routing, core services, and healthcare/HIPAA-relevant network gaps where applicable.
One physical site, one primary internet edge, up to two firewalls, core switching/routing, standard business wireless, and the site's core DNS/DHCP/network services.
Plain-language findings report, severity-ranked technical findings, remediation roadmap, live readout, and a separate estimate for fixes VALO is qualified to perform.
Typically about 1 week from on-site discovery to final readout for a qualifying environment.
$2,500 flat for a qualifying single-site environment. Scope is confirmed before the engagement is accepted.
Multi-site environments, data centers, SD-WAN estates, unusually large switch/firewall inventories, carrier-grade networks, major redesigns, and remediation implementation are quoted separately. The $2,500 price is not applied to an environment that does not meet the qualifying scope.
How the assessment works
Five phases, scoped to a single site. Most small-practice assessments are completed within about a week start to finish.
VALO works in Cisco and Arista environments and serves SMB and clinic-scale networks. Large multi-site campus builds and carrier-grade work are outside our current scope. If your network isn't a fit, we'll tell you on the scoping call rather than stretch to take the work.

The qualifying assessment is $2,500 flat. A short scoping call confirms whether the environment fits the published scope, timing, and on-site access requirements. Remediation is always priced separately.
